Rock My Bao Bao – Instructor:  Lily Wagoner
This 35 minutes class is designed for newly arrived children age 3 and under.  Children will be encouraged to participate with one or both parents in singing Chinese songs and doing finger plays and movement with simple musical instruments.  The purpose of this class is to support the child-parent bonding process through Chinese music and movement.
The class size is a minimum of six children and maximum of 15.  The total cost is $90.00 per child for 15 classes.

KCAP Early Language – Instructor:  Lily Wagoner
This class is designed for children who are 3 or 4 years old.  Some children in this class are moving up from the Rock My Bao Bao class.  They will continue to experience Chinese culture through Chinese language, music, art, movement and games.  They will be introduced to counting, saying colors in Chinese and other Chinese vocabulary according to the needs of the group.  My goal is to inspire the children’s interest in Chinese heritage and culture, setting a solid foundation for Chinese language learning at an early age.

The class is 35-40 minutes long. 
The total cost is $90 ($6 per child per class).

Required Materials for this class:
1) a box of crayons
2) a pair of scissors
3) a glue stick
4) a two pocket folder with name

PreK and Kindergarten Class – Instructor:  Lily Wagoner
This class is designed for children who are ready to advance from the previous Early Language class or similar level, and children who are entering kindergarten this school year.  The children will be introduced to speaking, singing, and listening to the Chinese language.  They will also learn to recognize and write simple Chinese characters.  The language concept includes counting, colors, body parts, animals, and the names of fruits and vegetables, depending on the need of the group.  We will incorporate games and seasonal themes as well. 

The class is 40 minutes long.  The class size is minimum of six children and maximum of 15.
The total cost is $90 ($6 per child per class).

Class time:  10:30 - 11:10

2)  pencils with eraser
3) a small dry-erase board, dry-erase markers and eraser (cloth)
4) crayons or markers for coloring
5) a pair of scissors
6) a glue stick

Chinese 1st Grade Class – Instructor:  Lily Wagoner

This 90 minute class is designed for children who are entering first grade in the fall of 09.  The children will continue the Chinese language learning through speaking, singing, listening and writing simple characters.  They will be introduced to reading beginner Chinese books.  A set of 12 “My First Chinese Words” mini books are required.  This set of books includes concepts such as Greetings, Shapes, Seasons, Animals, Insects, Friendship etc.  A CD is included in the set.  I am excited to offer this new opportunity to the first graders and up.

The class is 90 minutes long.  The class size is minimum of six children and maximum of 15.  The total cost is $202 ($12 per child per class and $22 for books) for 15 classes.

Class time: 9:00 - 10:35

Lily Wagoner was born in China.  Just like you, she is also an adoptive parent.  "It has been a thrill being an educator and a learner for 28 years both in China and in the U.S.  I earned a Master’s degree in Education from OSU.  Now I teach first grade.   Sharing the Chinese culture, language, and songs with the lovely adopted children has become a very important and enjoyable part of my life.   I am very excited to have fun with your family."
